Donations enable us to help refugees and returnees. Even a small contribution has a great impact. For example €5 buys a child refugee living on the streets a night in a shelter home for children, and €10 provides ten spelling books for ten illiterate. Non specific donations are always directed where the need is greatest. The use of donations

The donations are used for the Finnish Refugee Council’s development cooperation and for socio-political influencing and information. This includes refugee and returnee projects in developing countries, informing, intercultural education and immigration projects in Finland, and supporting the aforementioned projects. The organisation also supports the UNHCR’s work in crisis areas.
