Peer support for the early days of integration

The VertaisKoto project, which ended in February 2012, was financed by The European Refugee Fund, the social services of the city of Helsinki and the social and health care services of the city of Espoo. The project provided peer support as well as courses for  immigrants, aiming specifically for  newly arrived refugees and immigrants in the country. In the VertaisKoto’s groups, everyday matters were discussed to assist integration  in  Finland.
